I should also mention that every new account should have some invites available so there should be more available even if run out.

Question... why would I want to give some unknown company/person access to my stuff? That they could keep and access indefinitely?

And if you put your company info on there, you could be violating company policies.

You wouldn't! I personally use it to store files I frequently need access to, but i also encrypt them in containers prior to putting them on the server. I usually keep this stuff on my gmail account, but dropbox seems a bit easier to use. As you said, It's not secure, but if you use some type of encryption it should be reasonably safe. A lot safer than giving a waiter/waitress your credit card and letting them walk into a back room for 5 minutes.

Pampers or Depends? Grin

I'm actually impressed with it so far. It does a pretty good job of syncing the local folder with the online folder. I haven't tried to change a file from multiple computers yet, but will get to that eventually. I can mount a truecrypt volume from the local dropbox folder make changes and then dismount it and they are automatically synced with the online storage, not bad in my estimation.
