That's exactly what I do; really ticks off the other drivers who are stuck idling in one of the world's biggest parking lots. Grin

Some states its illegal for bikes to do that, in others it is encouraged.

Cars I can usually see coming and I will drift out far enough onto the shoulder to block them. Amazing the number of fingers and horn honks I get then. As if I am the one doing something wrong.

The motorcycles between lanes are usually right next to me before I even know it, so they get past before I can react. Have to work on that.

Hey now.... In some states it's legal for bikes to do it. But it's NEVER legal for a car!
