The family of a local "kid" were presented their son's Medal of Honor today by the President.

I remember hearing about his death awhile back, but not the whole story. Kinda shocked when I found out what he did, and proud to have had him as a "neighbor"(25miles away).

The word "Hero" sometimes is used very lightly. In this case it is much deserved. God bless Army Pfc. Ross McGinnis and his family.
