Nothing what I would call really call noticeable, just makes fresh/new installs much easier, no more extra downloads.

Ah, so I guess it's just a package of the hotfixes since the last few years.
Too bad it can't be a SP2 all over again Grin

I have installed it a while ago and I do not see visible improvements! That's too pity considering that it took so much time to develop

Only improvement I've seen from SP3 is that it installs nearly all of the prior Windows Updates with it..

I'll be slipstreaming a SP3 disc this weekend when I get back home.. helps to save time not having to do so many updates from MS's site.

I slipstreamed mine with the utility I posted above and did a fresh install on a new HD today and it worked like a charm.............Wink

Only thing that comes up on Windows update is the update software its self.

Is SP3 the last service pack planned for Windows XP?

Yup, from what I get from all the news lately anyways.

XP is supposed to go EOL in June of this year for retail.

If you slip stream the SP there is no uninstalling.............Wink

No reason to uninstall anyways, its basicly only updates for the most part.

Any word as to whether it requires Windows Genuine Advantage (WGA) to install?
