OK... our Dryer broke today... I have a feeling it's just a belt, so I tear it apart, and sure enough the belt broke. No biggie...
I try and call the local Sears Parts/Service center. The recording says call an 800 number, while I'm doing this I also fire up sears.com. Guy says yea they got the parts, recommends a repair kit (with rollers, etc..) sounds good to me, and it's only $25. I ask if I can pick it up at the local center, he says... No. OK, how long? About Jan 7th, he says. Ain't no way we can make it a week with out doing laundry.. so life would be a major pain in the butt.
However, as I said.. I fired up Sears.com and did a parts check there. They had buried on the page a "Need parts today?? Link. So I click it, and check.. and low and beho... the local parts center has the belt I need.
They are closed today, but I can go tomorrow and get it. Not that the "National" parts center would even check for me. Basically they gave me no real help. The guy was polite enough, but couldn't tell me parts numbers, check local stores, or give me much of any details.
Customer service SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

Ditto... You'd have to be packing to make it out alive. |

Well darn ... I was hoping you would have to resort to launching subterranean probes to get what you wanted |
