A concert tour against George Bush?!?

Come on now... How lame can you get? Well... I guess really really lame, by looking at the losers on the tour intended to "raise political awareness and encourage pop-punk fans to vote in the next presidential election â€” against George Bush."

Good Charlotte, Pennywise, Sum 41, Green Day, NOFX and Alkaline Trio are all on the bill... 6 bands I will make sure to never give money to, ever. Are they all even American bands? Isn't Sum 41 Canadian? Puh-lease...

Anyone got good links on this? I can only find forum threads referencing a MTV News story... But the whole thing sounds so stupid it's hard to believe!

Who WOULD you vote for? It's not like anyone else would be better than Bush... They're all bad (including Bush if that wasn't quite clear).

Regardless of political views... it seems like a really weak premise. Just think of all the money that could have been made on a tour against Bubba!! The only thing that stopped that tour was the name was already registered... "Sex, Lies, and Videotape"... Laughing

Well Bush has to be the dumbest president we have ever had thats for sure... hell half the time he has no frickin cluwe where the hell he is and where he is speaking, I will vote for anyone that runs against Bush!!!
