				| Just a few webpages I find myself using all of the time...
http://www.whatismyip.com (great for tech support, now you dont have to explain how to use ipconfig!)
http://www.securityfocus.com (all of the latest tech-threats, exploits, bugs - very good articles here)
http://packetstorm.widexs.nl (i use free tools from this website to test my systems security - also very good articles)
http://www.grc.com (allows you to "probe" your computer's ports [or routers] and identify holes/exploits)
http://www.shortnews.com (I use this one often, its news created by individuals of the public - may not be the most accurate but its straight to the point and usually entertaining)

But what do you do if they are behind a NAT/Proxy???
  Back to IPCONFIG
http://www.crazybrowser.com - Pretty cool IE "skin" that has tabbed view and pop-up blocker (sometimes it works too well).
 http://www.networkstoday.com -Shameless self promotion.
But a good place for networking type questions, reviews, articles, etc... (if I do say so myself) | |
