Yep,
I've got it on all four of my notfred usb key folders. "Hard drive image is corrupted, not backing up" Not sure if that means we will lose the work if we shut them down or if it just means they can;t back up the work unit. Not even really sure where they are supposed to be backed up too.

I do know that they are still folding and turning in work despite the warning.

Is this with the new version or the old? I haven't updated yet, and it seems to be chugging along still.

You had a progress bar? The only way I get to see any info is by pointing my brower at the folding computers IP. There isn't realy a progress bar on the webpage, unless you count the unit info link. There is a link to view the current folding log though.

While I just received a reply from notfred and he says we shouldn't worry.

I just checked the stats and we are smoking now. Should overtake ClubOC in 5 days, we managed to hold of team eurogamer. A couple days ago they were scheduled to overtake us in about a week Grin

My system is running great on the old install still, so I don't want to stop it.

The ramp on our production is getting steeper, and the time to pass a bunch of teams has dropped greatly!

Cool

I think as long as you don't shut your system down it will be fine until the old beta expires. I'm not sure when that will be, but I'm pretty sure notfred will have the no backup issue sorted out by then.

I've added my final folding node, for a total of 3 q6600 systems with gigabyte p31 boards and 1 e6550 w/abit p35-e. I also modified notfreds system configuration file to open an instance of f@h for every 2 cores, which means that the 3 quads are now crunching 2 work units each. They do this slower than when crunching 1 work unit, but overall it is more efficient and boosts ppd by about %20.

I've got a kill-a-watt meter on the way to get an idea just how much this is costing me at 11.8 cents a killawatt Grin

Here's a pic of one of the three identical q6600 nodes. (all are currently running 9x333 on stock hsf's)

did I mention how much you guys suck Sad

If I didn't have this wedding to pay for, I'd have a quad system too. How 'bout hooking a brother up? Smile

Wait till I get an accurate measurement of power draw on this thing, I may have a couple q6600's for sale cheap. Grin

At the moment my wife is simply in denial and things are good, but any day now she could come out of hibernation and bring my wild spending spree to a screeching halt. Sad

This would also be a good time to remind people that every point helps no matter what system they are able to run F@H on. Just because I've lost my mind is no reason for people to think their contribution doesn't matter. Wink
