Anybody know if there is a way to "push" files to the Playstation 3?

I know I can set it up to stream media, and use the PS3 to copy files from the server to the PS3. I would like to be able to use the server to push files to the PS3 hard-drive.

I don't think there is any type of file sharing via the PS3...but we can hope for a future update that would include it!

Yea, I went and asked on the official forums today, and that's what they said. No way to PUSH files to the PS3, but you can pull files like I'm doing.

Oh well, maybe eventually.

Will have to see if there's a "wish list" for the developers and get it submitted...especially if they want to eventually make the PS3 a HTPC alternative.

You can always use portable media to get things from PS3 to a server, at least for now.

I don't think you can do this on the ps3. I hope there will be in the future.
