 I threw in a vote for the Giants about 2hours after the game
I'm a fan of neither team, the Pats dismantled the Charges in the last several games and I'm still bitter at Eli for dissing the Chargers (although I think we did get Antonio Gates as a result).
Regardless, It was one heck of a game!!!

I drove back to Anchorage from Homer this morning (son had hockey in Homer over the weekend) and it was freakin -17f at one point, how you handling the Alaskan winter? |
I can live with it for the incredible spring/summers. I am now Instrument supervisor so I rarely make it out of the shop, but we have some pretty severe cold weather gear if I ever have to.
It's always 10 or more degrees warmer in Nikiski than even Kenai. But then again its -14 here and we are supposed to get a 25+ MPH wind tonight and that will make it -3000 wind chill temp!!!
The worst days so far were when it warmed up to 38, melted everything just enough to make it soupy, then froze again into Zamboni Ice.
Cliff notes: I wouldn't move out of Alaska for anything... There is no other place like this anywhere. |

I thought they just gave you the position because you were always in the shop anyway. 
It was -20 here the other day, but that only lasted for a few days. I didn't mind it so much but when the wind blows it sucks the heat right out of you.
