Yeah - has been freezing rain since this morning. All the bushes and little trees are bent to the ground, and I guess this big one just couldn't bend!

hope they had good insurance ...thats never fun dealing with that stuff im dealing with hail damage on my house now

That isn't dead. It is like a 12 foot high hedge bent to the ground by ice. You can't see it, but just about eveything in the picture has a solid shell of ice on it. My lawn isn't really grey, it is just ice covered... Laughing

Oof. That looks like a problem!

Thought something similar was going to happen here... My wife got home about 10 seconds after the branch fell, and felt it was necessary / appropriate to call her Dad while parked right next to it. Plenty of other branches could have fallen, but nope, gotta stop right there 10 feet short of the garage and chat with Daddy. Uggh.

Ice storms are always fun...we get them here quite often. Sometimes just a slight icing, but the one we got several weeks ago, there was a TON of damage. Trees all over the place, was like an inch of ice covering the car.
