Here are reviews of Wally World's new $199 PC that runs Linux... The reviews are all pretty positive, but the comments reveal what a strange new world this OS is to them...
Quote: | I really expected Windows, and was prepared for an afternoon of removing unneeded programs as well as explaining little oddities and many many concepts. Instead I was surprised/shocked when it booted to Linux instead. My initial thought was someone had bought the machine, put Linux on it and returned it. |
Quote: | This is a Linux machine that's capable of XP or Vista. |
Quote: | Software upgrades on this machine are FREE FOREVER. Try that on a windows box. |
