OK, well it also says "The Fastest Hardware: everyone post up what they think the best , fastest and longest lasting"
I can think of stuff faster than what I own... But my fastest:
Intel e6850 Core2Duo at 3.2GHz (400x8)
ASUS P35 Motherboard
2GB 1600MHz DDR3 Crucial Memory
2x 750GB SATA 3Gbps Hard Drives |

Seems to be the fastest, guess I win
If we're talking games, that would be someone else, but I can tell you my setup rips through WoW at about 160fps at 1680x1050
Pretty much anyone with an nvidia 8800 would be faster then me when it comes to games. There's people out there running c2d's at 4Ghz with two 8800gtx's in SLI. Those systems simply rock and are probably the fastest setups that are easily obtainable. _________________

You have just one machine Folding? No way...
I am pleased with maintaining 10,000+ per week on my e6850. Never put up that much before.
Now if only the SMP app would keep going.... Every once in a while I see CoreTemp say the cores are below 30C and I know F@H has stopped. I close the window and launch a new one and they get back up to about 48C.
Another fast system that may get back to Folding soon...
2x Dual Core Opteron 270s (4x 2GHz cores)
6GB PC3200 DDR dual channel
4x 250GB SATA 3 Gbps drives in RAID 0+1 |
