First day of Buck Season..  Some districts even give for first day of archery or muzzleloader too. We take pride in our hunting heritage.  |

They also figure since they are only going to get through the 3rd grade on average they need to know how to feed themselves.    |

Kids here started August 3rd. Of course they get out sooner than other parts of the country. They also get 2 weeks spring break due to mot having "snow days" |

Yea, snow days here has been getting more and more relaxed, then when they need it, they have already used it, and have to extend the year LOL |
