What you talkin' bout foo? I lost that top spot ages ago and keep going at the same pace!

I tried setting up a D840 to Fold with the SMP client... It worked, but insisted there were 4 cores. So, I setup my SFF with two Opteron 246s and its X1650 XT to Fold. While I was messing with the GPU Client, I also added it to my desktops X1300 XT IceQ (which is basically a X1600 Pro).

Cool

Already ditched the GPU clients... Didn't know they used so much CPU. Probably more efficient to just let the SMP clients run (which I now have working again on all systems - WOOT).

I ended up ditching the gpu clients quite a while ago. They need a cpu core each and use a LOT of extra power. The smp client seems to be simpler and just as efficient.

We're doing quite well for the relatively small number of contributors.

I like my playstation3 putting up about 285pts every 8hrs. If I leave it folding 24x7 that's over 1100PPD.

Your probably gonna hit 200K before I pass 500K. My comp hasn't been folding much because I've been stress testing my new OC.

I now know that Folding@Home is not a real stress test for a cpu. Current folding@home temps at 98% load and 3.3Ghz are 58-60c, but 4 instances of prime for 6hrs results in the screenshot below.

In any case, pushing the cpu to 3.6Ghz (froze after 3 or 4 min) hosed my linux vmware virtual machines so I went back to the windows smp client. I lost some work with that one, but it's my own fault. I know better. Grin
