BB,
Just a couple thoughts: First, did you re-install as admin? Second, are you running the program as admin? Lastly, are you using IE connection settings? (First two should be yes, last should be no)

Might help, but who knows. I had a similar problem to yours and got so tired of messing with it that I went back to the Linux smp clients being run via vmware virtual machines.

Probably didn't look at the Admin features, will try that, thanks.

My daughter's is running since hers is Linux, and the SMP client worked fine there. Was really just a test to see if it worked, but when it did, I left it going!

BB,
There is an error on the f@H forum identical to yours that was fixed with a different username. Apparently they were using the wrong one when setting the system up.

Keep trying, gotta get that quad working again!!!

So, wrong system admin user name / password? I know the F@H username is right.

Thanks.

And an update on my F@H problem... I am now back to running 4 separate command line clients since the SMP client stopped working.

Awww... a Folding milestone...

http://fah-web.stanford.edu/awards/cert.php?u=Big_Bruin&pts=1034&t=wus&bg=3

Since acruxksa has over double my points total, but fewer WU completed, does that mean I'm just spinning my wheels? Like, the least efficient Folder award?

Congrats BB!!!!
It just means you've been folding work units that are worth less per unit. GPU and SMP work units are worth more, but take more to complete....................blah blah blah. Anyway, 1000 work units is a good milestone.

Congrats Again!!!!
