Some Help getting started?? DFI ULTRA D

I was able to replace my aging Asus A7n8x Delux and xp2500 oc'd to 2.26 gigs system last December. I found that rig reletively easy to overclock..

Now I own a:
DFI LP Ultra D MOBO
AMD 4400x2
Kingston HyperX KHX3200ULK2/1G 2x512
Thermaltake Blue ORB
Corsair HX620w PSU

I could use a hand in attempting to get more out of this system then stock...

not to sound like I am passing you off to another forum, but check out DFI Support. Since you have a DFI board this is the place that you will find TONS of info on overclocking and very helpful and experienced crowd.

Allright I ran orthos for 4 hours at 250X10(2.5gig) HTT at 4x And mem divider at 5/6 I think.
In any case I'm stable at mem 2 2 2 5 timings now and running at 208 or 416DDR.
I am now using the UltraTEC Cooler and my cpu is at 20c idle and 34 load ocd.
While my chipset is at 46 and my pwmic is at 38 idle.
I raised my vcore to 1.4 and it is holding at 1.37 vdrop.
Any suggestions?
What is the special voltage setting for?

I know Orthos is really Prime95 with a cleaner interface...but are both cores at 100%??? If not, then you need to run two instances of Orthos.

orthos runs both cores. I'm just curious if i should set my sites at 10.5 multi and shoot higher with tighter timings.. 11 is stock but i was having a hard time in keeping my HT at or near 1000 using that multiplier I can run my memory at mem test stable 3 passes at 265 loose timings of 3448 but I'm not sure exactly how I should take on the task of reaching 2.6 gigs stable.. Any setup suggestions?

from what I remember from the dfi forum...they said not to use the .5 multi...so try to use whole numbers.

check that out...when I overclocked my a64 3200+ & opteron148 I didn't do anymore than 1.5vcore.
