I just got a tip from a friend of mine to start using Winamp5. I downloaded it and everything seems to be good, but I haven't done anything spectacular with it yet. Anyone else using this?

It's funny because their slogan is "Winamp 2+3 = Winamp 5!" WA3 was a bit of a failure, so they totally redesigned the player, and so far, I'm liking it!

Just dl'ed WinAmp 5 at work as I finally got fed up with Windows Media Player... Seems cool, very nice! But, my machine is so beat (PIII 600) it doesn't do well on the modern skins or visualizations! Bang Head

Installed it last night so far so good. Loads like Winamp2.xx with features like Winamp3. So far so good keeping my fingers crossed.

The one major problem I've had so far:

When playing video games (CS, FFXI) sometimes the CD Player will go into ultra mega super uber fast play mode. It is very strange and very disruptive to gameplay.
