I ran out of Windows licenses, so my 5 year old is now on Fedora 6.

I installed Wine, and it allows 2 of the 5 games she has to be played. Is there anything better I can use?

Also, one issue seems to be that the 3 unusable games require Quicktime, which gets installed in Wine, but doesn't seem to really work. Anyway around that?

Thanks.

Cedega might be your best bet, however it does require a [small] subscription payment.

http://www.transgaming.com/

I used it for a few months to play Call of Duty:United Offensive and BF2, but after some issues I cancelled my subscription and just play on Windows now. But after just checking the site out to get you the link Cedega 6.0 is out and offers alot of new features and bugfixes. I am tempted to once again try it out.

I was thinking that, too. I was considering buying yet another XP Home license, but want to save a few bucks. So far, she likes how the computer looks, works, so that is good... We just really need to get the Barbie Phone software and the Disney Princess Magical Dress Up game going. Laughing

Yea, for < $100 you can buy XP or Vista Basic OEM. I wouldn't spend money a year on something that will mostly replace it.
