BUT!!!!!!!!!
With the the E6420's and the recent drop in DDR2-800 prices it is getting very tempting....
But I'll wait till amd drops their new cpu's out and intel continues the cut throat pricing wars to grab the best deal. Hell by then quad may be dropped into the 200 range..... We'll see.. But I may have a tec cooler to help oc one of those bad boys soon. hehe _________________

idk what I am doing...merely thinking out loud on the forum. I will get a new system once I sell my 939 dfi setup (probably hand down to brother)
I do like the lanbox case, but would want a decent MB for it...sli b/c of expandability. (although my dfi has it and I don't use it b/c evga stopped making it) |

I think it's pretty safe to say that there is no TEC cooler in my future.
I'm with BB on this one. Go with one high end video card rather than SLI. At least in the beginning. We may see some good mATX SLI boards in the near future and you could add a second card at that time.
I personally think that SLI and mATX are two incompatible techniologies. It's not that it can't be done, simply that the two are traditionally on opposite ends of the spectrum in terms of typical uses. SLI is generally for high end gaming and mATX to me at least is closer to the quiet, low heat, HTPC end of the spectrum. _________________

I have seen shuttle pcs available withthem in the past. But as far as anyone having one for the retail market I'm unsure.. |
That board is so old, I can't imagine anyone stocking them. _________________
