I just found myself a nice Dell PowerEdge 2650 server on eBay. The seller has 5 of them and I just bought one. $1,450 is a nice price for what you get:
Dual Xeon 3.06GHz
533MHz FSB
4GB ECC RAM
4x 36GB SCSI
Integrated PERC3/Di RAID with 128MB DIMM and Key Installed (don't know what that is specifically, but sounds like it's a good RAID controller )
Dual Gigabit NICs
Redundant PSUs
Can't wait to get this beast and compile Gentoo on it!
No auction, just Buy Now, but here's the link:

I'm looking at places to colocate it and retire the dedicated server with The Planet. I'm i no hurry for that, though, so I'll probably toy around with it a bit at home and see what it's capable of. _________________ 5 home-built PCs, ASUS A6Jc Laptop, and a PowerEdge 2650 - all running Gentoo.
