I wish my AMD 3800 AM2 at work would produce a little better...seems like I'm barely getting pts the past 3 days.

My Xeons
are core2 based Grin. They're just at 2.66

I don't have a fancy ATI GPU....yet

I actually stopped using the gpu clients. They don't produce nearly as much as the smp client and needed to be shut down everytime I wanted to play a video game or use some other 3d app. The smp client just runs in the background 24/7 and doesn't really seem to slow down daily tasks/games at all. Also, the cpu uses much less power than the dual gpu setup did.

I was reading about it and it seemed like the GPU client is really only made for enthusiasts that dedicate entire boxes towards folding. It seems like too much of a hastle to run on a normal box, thats one of the conveniences of normal F@H, you can let it run and it won't slow down your computer much or require that you touch it at all. Just makes your computer run a bit hotter than usual. (Ungodly hot in my case[hehe, pun], I had some of my sensors picking up 70+ degrees from running 100% usage for several consecutive days)

On another note, who's excited for the PS3 version of F@H? Laughing

No way I would run it on console. I can't fix them, and wouldn't want to void a warranty with cooling mods.
