hardware monitoring software

I have Motherboard Monitor 5, and LCDC monitoring my temps and controlling my fans. Problem is it's rather unwieldy, mbm5 anyways. The program doesn't actually support my motherboard, but is modified to do it, consequently reinstalls are a pain in the A. LCDC unfortunately has limited plugins for hardware monitoring, mbm5 is one of them, and works the best out of the bunch, but it's a hassle and there's no support for it. It also has Speedfan, which I couldn't get configured right, and Hardware Systems Monitor, and I can't remember what wasn't good about that. I like LCDC, even though it's qwerky, because of all the functions you can do with it. But basically, for the hardware monitoring stuff, I'd like something that installs and just tells you what's going on, without a lot of monkeying around with sensors. I'd also like to have the nvidia monitoring going too. At one point I had mbm5 monitoring the temps and clock speeds of the gpu. I can now get gpu temp, which I use to control the rear exhaust fans, but that's it. The cool thing about LCDC is that it will display the temps etc, while in game. I could get ntune, and asus probe to monitor everything, but you can't check them under load, like in a game. What does everyone do for this?

did you check your asus cd? I remember the last asus mb I had came with monitoring software and just worked after install.

Yeah, I've got Asus Probe. But it doesn't have a plug-in for LCDC. I'm reading everything out on a small LCD screen.

I remember about speedfan now. It's the plug-in for LCDC that blows, not the software.

Now I've ended up with Hardware Systems Monitor. It's a good program. The guy that wrote it and moderates the forums is a straight up dick though. I asked him a few questions, and all I got were smartass remarks and general rudeness. Works with LCDC good, but doesn't display the nvidia temps even though the program has them. I guess it's all about LCDC. It's a really good program, but just falls short in a few areas, like these plugins.

What about Test My Hardware? My friend recommed it. It is a freeware.
