OK,
both gpu's are back online. Props to the egg to processing my RMA and getting my replacement card back to me in just over a week.

Hoping to break 8000/wk and it looks like BB.com will be in the top 1000 pretty soon. SmileSmile

Should be top 1000 in less than a week! We sure could use some help though! Has to be a few hundred GHz going to waste out there among the other members!

Right now I have a D840 running two instances full time, four instances on a Dual dual-core Opteron setup running about 10 hours a day.

We are there, 1001 last time I checked. should be in the top 1000 by the end of the day.

Just in case people don't already know this, if you set folding@home to run in the background as a service, you won't even notice it. It runs with a pretty low priority, so it won't slow things down. The only issue would be if you have an unstable system, it will definitely let you know.

More folders is a good thing. The results of folding@home are pretty important to the scientific community. Not to mention it would be nice to see our favorite forum make a show of it.

Amen brotha acruxksa! I would love to see more people get involved!

This says we are now 1000...

With a few more conquests in the next day! Grin

I have just recently made it a service on a few of my machines, and it works really well. Starts up at boot up and you never see it.

Go on... Sign up!

I even freshened up our splash page for it:

It is official... I have less than 30 days as the top dog on team 13848 at this pace! Laughing

Gotta get some more power folding again.

But the team is now #993!

I'm really loving these GPU folding@home clients. Smile For some reason my frame times with two gpu's seems to have slowed from the last time I was using two gpu's. They used to be around 9min per frame and now seem to be closer to 10.5min per frame. Not exactly sure why, both cards seem to be running fullspeed. It's only about a 150ppd difference, but is preventing me from crossing that magical 8000 / week mark. That and the fact that playing pc games shuts the gpu cores down.
