Does anyone have suggestions for a MP3 Player under $150 that is easy to use, ie - drag and drop mp3s/wmas in explorer, and maybe 2-6 GBs.

yeah, you must be high on something alright...

for the nano 4gb [$200] I could get this for almost the same price.

I was thinking one of the rockbox compatible players...but I need some input with someone who actually has one.

2 GB iPod = $150 or less if you get from the Apple refurb/Edu-ma-kay-shun site

There is a perfectly good reason iPod is 80% of the MP3 market...it's good

How about this?
From reviews on buy.com and on the web, it looks pretty good.

The only thing that majorly turns me off on that model is the AAA battery. Im surprised you'd be able to settle for that, usually when I set a budget for myself that means I usually end up going about 10$-30$ above it Laughing

EDIT - Also, you might want to check out the reviews for it on newegg. A lot of people seem to complain about cheap construction.

With your budget and apple out of the question, i'd probably go for

link
2GB more than the one you picked out, colored screen that can view pictures, better reviews that dont complain about sound quality, recharbable battery, and better company(In my humble opinion).

I bought my wife the Sansa and she loves it. Drag and drop mp3, and you can use it's tool to convert video for it.

HF, how is your wife with using computer/electronics? The person this MP3 player is for is one of "those people" that double clicks everything after I repeatedly tell her not to.

I would like to find a player that allows transfers to be drag and drop with explorer...so adding/removing songs is easy as pie.

Thx for the help highon...but that is alot of $$ for someone who will probably not even use the 2GB storage or view pictures...it's going to be used mostly for FM and MP3 listening while cooking/cleaning/walking.
