OK, I just added an e6400 C2D oc'd to 3.2Ghz to the folding mix. (granted I set each core to run at only 70%) It should allow me to keep the juggernaut that is mrweasel from overtaking me for at least 45days.

so to summerize:
1 - t2500 coreduo laptop running 2 instances of F@H about 16hrs/day
1 - Athlon64 X2 3800 running 2 instances of F@H at 50%cpu usage avg. about 12hrs/day (kids gaming rig)
1 - e6400 (@3.2Ghz) running 2 instances of F@H at 70% cpu usage 24/7.

If you get too close I may have to bump the cpu utilization up to %100 and keep them running 24/7. I like them where they are though because at less than %100 cpu utilization they run F@H and still stay quite cool. Just dropping the utilization down to 85% lowers temps drastically and at %70 I can't even hear the fan on my new C2D system.

Alright mrweasel,
My wife is positive I've lost my mind. I just bought my second x1950 pro video card for no other reason than to keep you behind me. These things can really turn out the work units. I am a GPU folding convert. Just hope it's enough to hold you off for a few more weeks.

Second video card should be here Monday. I have to stop folding on one core of my c2d but since the gpu's pump out about 500ppd each, it's worth it. I think. The move to 2 x1950 pro's also caused me to change cases to the Antec 900 to get better cooling. If your looking for a mid-level case with good air flow I highly recommend it.

Nice case, but 2 full size PCIe cards make it a little tight

These two combined can pump out about 1000 points per day.

Those 1900XT's can pump out over 600ppd on their own!
