Well I've got a DFI Lanparty UT nf4 Ultra-D motherboard and I can't seem to get the onboard sound working. It's enabled in bios, and I'm coming from a fresh install of windows here. I downloaded the audio drivers from the DFI site directly. (5th link here
Nothing seems to be working. I'm 95% sure that the audio module works, I'm convinced it's some driver issue that I can't seem to figure out. Anybody got any ideas?
PS - It's one of the Karajan Module's

Went to go check out DFI Street and the forums have been down most of the day apparently. Guess I'll have to check up on it tomorrow. Thanks for the site referrence, I had never been there before. _________________ ABAP? What did you call me?
I have an extra karajan module if you need one. Be sure to check your jumpers though. If those aren't jumpered right, the audio doesn't go where it should. If you remove the jumpers, you need to connect it to your case audio. Doing that can be tricky based on what your case supplier has given you. I have two DFI based computers, both LanParty UT SLi-DR boards, and both use the onboard Karajan to good effect. The sound from them, to me, is better than my old SB Live! card. I also post-process the sound from both through a NewQ Platinum ignoring the case audio for headphones/mic. It works really well.

I didn't think of checking the jumpers, time to break out the manual and see if I can fix it like that
EDIT - Looking at the manual, I'm trying to figure out which jumper your reffering to. (There are SO many on DFI boards) Is it the S/PDIF-out via the nforce4 that I'm going to want to set? _________________ ABAP? What did you call me?

No dice on the solution, I switched the jumped from the 1-2 setting to the 2-3 setting (which sends the audio to nforce4), and still no sound. _________________ ABAP? What did you call me?
