DVD Recorder Automatic Menu

I need a standalone DVD recorder that does NOT automatically create a menu on a recorded disc.
I need this because I need it to play unattended automatically when the player is powered up by a timer.
I have a player that will do this IF no menu is present.
Any recommendations greatly appreciated.

Seems like something you could do on nero, can it be done off of the computer?

Thanks for the reply.
I should have noted that we need to be able to play the disc a couple of hours after it is recorded from a live program, so there is no time for computer work or burning a disc.
We record the worship service at our church every Sunday and it goes out on a local access channel at 2PM. We do this now with a VCR that plays when a timer turns it on, (while the crew is relaxing at home).

We want to convert to DVD before VHS tapes become unavailable.
