Firefox annoyance..

How the hell do you turn off the Find function when you're trying to type the character " ' "(apostrophe)?

That damn function p!sses me off to no end.

I never even noticed it. I have never had a need to use it without using it in a text field. It doesn't do it when i am in a text field.
