You got that right.
within 2 miles of Cherry Point (site of 4 major Washington state refineries) the price varies from $2.55 to $3.09 for regular,.
Near my house (50 miles south) anyhting from $2.59 to $2.95
Go 40 mile south and it gets cheaper again (all coming from the same refineries)
A freind who's a gas tanker driver says it's all in the tariff's he can make 2-3 deliveries and the farther he drives the less it sells for, in many cases. |

Yeah but its fresh gas, you should get better mileage from gas that is sold so close to a refinery.
I'm not sure what it is here, I only fill up about once every other month, with the new 5 minute commute.

I have a 30 minute ride every day, about 6 miles. Luckily, my bike is 45mpg. Sounds good too.
I saw the gas station this morning selling at 2.76 at Alameda & Colorado (Cheese will know where that is). |
