Just found a Dutch to English translator, so i know what these guys are saying here:

http://www.tweakers.net/nieuws/29575

"People of BigBruin.com their first short findings of the Logitech Cordless Mouse for Notebooks have posted. Logitech provide the mouse with Usb-receiver and draagzak, but the draagzak are however not necessary since many people take place still enough in the notebooktas for the Cordless Optical Mouse. Although the reviewer slightly wondered themselves why the manufacturer brings out a Hertzian mouse for lap computers, he can discover nevertheless the positive sides of the review: the apparatus lies comfortable in the hand and is also once more easy in use. Unfortunately the mouse does not work optimum on hard oppervlakken as a result of which the use of a mousepad is recommended"

I just got this mouse today. I compared it in store (and in package) to the non-wireless (but half the price) microsoft notebook optical mouse but that one was too small for my taste, i could see my hand getting all cramped on it already so I went for the logitech.
In my case it did not just come with the dongle but also a docking station with about 1.5 - 2 m wire, so you can also use it on say a pc that has the usb on the back and/or to far away for the receiver's reach. Very nice!! I loved it that they supplied Duracell batteries, first time I got quality batteries with something.

Only thing I'm still wondering and will have to see in time is battery life. This is my first wireless mouse so have no idea if I should start carrying spares around already....

Thanks for the review, it was a nice read!

I would suggest some MAHA PowerEx NimH batteries and a MAHA smart charger. Batteries won't be a concern if you get those, the AAs run my digital camera with flash and LCD for a week or more, that mouse should last for weeks.

Thompson-Distrubuting is where I got mine, but you may have a retailer in your area.

Glad you like it. My wife uses it on her laptop, and forgets to turn it off. So I think the batteries last a long time.
