Well I've got a rather old MP3 player that I lost the power adapter to ages ago, and I was looking to see if I could replace it rather cheaply. I've looked both on ebay and the creative site, and I can't seem to find anything for my model, any idea's of where to look? It's a "Creative Nomad Jukebox Zen XTRA". The only adapter that says it has support for the XTRA on the creative site is a car adapter, which is a problem being as I don't have my car with me at college.

Thanks in advance.

If it has a diagram of the power socket on the side, as well as the power requirements listed, you could go to Radio Shack and pick up a universal adapter.

If you don't know what the power diagram looks like I'm sure one of us could come up with a quick and dirty pic for you on it...

Basially looks like a C-- +

Take to Radio Shack, hopefully you have somebody that knows a little about electronics and could point you to the right one..

that's what the diagram looks like near the power-adapter port on the ZEN, not sure if that's what you were referring to or not.

Yup, exactly what I was talking about.

Go to Radio Shack and get a universal adapter that will do 5V, and make sure you configure the plug to match that. It should provide you multiple connectors to get the right size and be able to decide the orientation of the poles.
