Not a comparison of the same sizes, but here is a 750GB 7200.10 versus a 500GB 7200.9...

Newegg has the WD2500KS for 78 and if you choose to send in the mail in rebate... you can save 10 more bucks. Thats a 250GB Sata 3.0Gb/s drive. I liked it... reviewed it... have 3 of them.
