This card states that it is ready for Windows Vista. It comes with dx9 still though. isn't Vista dx10? How can they say that it's ready for it?
Thanks

Because they have drivers that support it under Vista.

I'm still going to be laughing at those using Vista. Gotta pay to get the latest and greatest just to meat minimum specs, and running those graphics cards at the 3-D clocks, meaning plenty of heat and power consumption while doing small tasks like email and web surfing.

Hahaha << that laugh I was talking about at the beginning of this post ;-)

Correct. Also, just for giggles, I ran Vista on a machine WELL below the min specs, and after turning off the aero and the other fun/frill type UI stuff it ran just fine.

This was on a really old IBM T20 laptop, think it was an 800mhz with 256mb ram.

It couldn't have run very well if it was the free distro

hehe No, it's not the free "beta" version of Vista...I have a MSDN Universal account so I have the current beta version, which has improvements over the free beta version...

Don't know off the top of my head. I'm at work right now. I know it's a build that was just released last Wednesday (7/19). Least that's when it was posted to the MSDN site.
