OK... How far out of the loop am I that I didn't know Adobe owned Macromedia?!? When did that happen?

Also... Think there will be a flash and shockwave player for 64-bit Linux any time soon? BB looks even worse with broken pieces where plug-ins are unavailable! Laughing

Macromedia is one of the only things keeping me from switching from x86 Gentoo to amd64 Gentoo. There isn't much real performance gain in 64-bit for what I use, but I still want to be with the times. I don't just upgrade to that because for the few apps that do require 32-bit, requires tons of 32-bit compatible libraries to be installed, which often cause more problems than not, so until 32-bit compatibility is no longer required, I'll stick to 32-bit.

As of now, they're still relunctant to even start on 64-bit Flash. They said they've considered it but not going to work on it yet. Don't know why. Seems everything will be primarily 64-bit by Q4 2007.

Well, the x64 version of CentOS is nice, and already installed... Laughing - So I want to stick with that on this particular system.

You can get Flash working in x86_64, you just have to install the 32-bit compatability stuff, 32-bit FireFox, and then you can use Flash.
