Why not Skype? That is the easiest, and in the US and Canada it is free for the rest of the year.

There are others, but I have no expeerience with them.

Skype isn't free to other countries, you have to purchase SkypeOut time to do so. I don't think there are any pc-to-phone setups that allow free calling to other countries though, sorry bud. Sad
