Looks, and sounds about normal for a stock cooler. If you want it quieter, look into getting an aftermarket cooler. Will cut down on the noise, and give better cooling.
Of course understanding you are most likely voiding your warranty when you do. |

Thankfully not with eVGA. In fact, the card that I used to test the recent VGA coolers, the 7800GT, they gave me full credit towards the 7900GT a few weeks back. They even mentioned that as long as the cooler is certified for that series of cards, it's permitted.
But yes, I've found the eVGA standard fans to be loud. The 7900GT KO Superclock (just below the signature) is loud as well. Can't wait for Arctic Cooling to release the Accelero S1 (supposed to be compatible with the 7900GT series.... |
