I am interested to purchase Aver TV Purity 3D MCE 500 dual tuner TV card. I am very particular of the TV resolution on the monitor and the video quality captured. Is this card comparable with brands such as Hauppauge Win PVR 350, Nvidia Dual TV and ATI Theater 550 as related to video captured and the TV resolution on the monitor.

IN my testing, I compared the AVerTV MCE 500 to my Hauppauge 350. In short, the AVerTV is now residing in my HTPC, while the Hauppauge 350 is in my test machine.

I have no experience with any of these cards, but have read online elsewhere just how good the nVidia dual tuner card. I imagine that coupled with an nvidia based motherboard and graphics card might be a really smooth system.

Sounds like a good thing to pursue for testing....
