Does anyone out there have easy steps for recovering from windows encrypting file system? A user in the domain encrypted their dox and etc but windows did a blue-screen a month later and now I've got to recover it all. I've already determined the recovery authorized user and the public keys are showing but there's no way to obtain the private key in the old installation (even safe mode blue screens on boot).

The domain Admin should be able to recover it. Put it in another machine that is on the network, and then try and import the HDD while logged in with a/the domain admin account. Should work.
