I was just wondering if anyone else heard of something like this before.
About a week ago I plugged in a KVM switch to do some work on a friends computer. Today I restarted my main machine and it just hung during boot right before the VGA cards were detected (according to DFI's diagnostic LEDs). The first thing I did was cry like a girl cuz i just spent $1K on video cards. After that I was going to try and re-seat the cards and decided to just try disconnecting the KVM switch.
Any way, after I disconnected the switch it fired right up... I can see the switch not working, but I didn't think it would make my Mobo not be able to detect the vid cards. _________________ You can't drink all day unless you start in the morning. |

BAD BAD KVM! Remember there is 2 way traffic on that link, because your video card can detect what monitor you're running.
Sounds like your KVM isn't high enough quality to really keep up with your beast, either that or it took a dump on you. |
