				Is SLAX geared for hard drive installation?  Maybe a different distribution would be better?
 
 
I think you might want to try getting rid of that NTFS partition with something else, like maybe connecting it to a Windows system temporarily and using Disk Management.

the software is:  partition logic.    file name:  "partlogic-0.61-img"   its a floppy image.    you'll need a floppy image writer to use it.   "rawwritewin-0.7.zip" |

X being the letter of where your IDE drive is in the system.
 
 
cfdisk is also good, I prefer it over fdisk. |
