So that's what happened?
Don't they like have a local backup? It's sort of the smart thing to do these days.  I keep both, my site database and files on my computer, and sometimes I even do another backup of that when I'm editing something locally in case I goof up and that my site happends to get hacked durring this time. (ok, so I'm paranoid )
Figured if I have one forum less to go to, might as well come and join another one.

Not much of a backup then is it?
My computer is backed up to a hard drive that is disconnected until I make backups. Nothing short of a hurricane, fire, or vandalism can touch my backup (or HDD failure  )
Why would the only backups be connected to something where they could be destroyed over the internet?
