Sweet!! I love a good sleeper..

I got pwn'd once at Gainesville 1/4 mile by a 4 door sedan. The car looked like a grocery beater. But he took me good..

I'm not sure what he was packing in that thing, but it was good enuff to take 750 horses and 650ft lbs of 500cid angry Mopar.

I know.. I hate 1/8 mile strips.. The one over in Clearwater, FL was a turd to run because there was a major state highway at the end of it with just a measily chainlink fence to stop you if your brakes failed. just too hard to get up any speed if your car had tall(highway) gears like mine had.

The only good thing about the 1/8 mile strips was, you weren't racing the other driver-you were racing the clock that you dialed in. With the 1/4 mile strips, I almost all the time optioned heads-up over dial-in.

1/4 mile and US interstate runs is where my car really showed it's stuff.

fo sheez... the only things i have to pay for are fluids and parts used...so used tires, brake pads /rotors drums(dunno what rear brakes used) and fluids...doin a compression test and if need be replacing gaskets...worst case sceanario is that the faulty water pump roached my head, block or gasket...in that case it will be a big project car..
like spires SS Grin
