New Install, CD/DVD drive split into two letters

It didn't do it at first but now I have the D drive which says CD drive and an F drive which says CD/DVD drive. Anyone seen this?

did you reinstall/add a new driver version?
How about burner software, Did it add a virtual drive?
If you're sure it's refering to the same hardware, I'd uninstall/reinstall (remove) the CD or both to avoid future conflicts (always happen at the worst time Bang Head

right click 'my computer' hit manage, then click disk management then right click where it says CD-Rom 0 and use the change drive letter and paths option. Manage your drive letters there.
