Hope you land on your feet, Knight

Why do bad things happen to good people? Sad

Come Jan 31st, I will be the last DuCom Cable TV employee to walk out the door. I was the very first cable employee for the company in 1989 when I designed the systems, and I'll be the last.

With that kind of experience, you'll be an asset to any company, you should be able to find a job. Cool

Thanks guys. That all makes me feel better.

I'm hoping the new company keeps me for awhile. but if not, I'm pretty sure I can get in with a contracting company doing OSP telco design.

My ex-girlfriend from 5 years ago is with them.. She's already put in a good word for me. ...glad that relationship ended on good and mutual terms(had to go seperate ways due to employment).

She only has <7 years of telco experience and is making $21 an hour as an apprentice engineer. I have 17 years in the field covering everything from hands on line construction, central office layout, outside plant and engineering management with telco. CATV includes all labor and design from the big dishes to the TV set at te customer's house.
