The video playback is one of the biggest reasons to get the MPM-201. If you select the "My Movies" icon from the main menu, you will be provided a list of the videos you have on the unit. These are all done by filename, and you can have them in sub-folders if you'd like. You can easily move any DivX 5 or MP4 video to the unit, simply by dragging it to a folder under "My Movies". - The Review

Yes, unfortunately it appears that way. However, there is another company out there that has the exact same device (with a tiny bit of changes in the design). Check out www.paviotime.com

The device actually appears to be manufactured by a company in Taiwan (www.kinpo.com.tw). Both Datexx/Paviotime and NHJ were having them made for them and rebranded.

Some of us are hoping that maybe we could eventually get our hands on the firmware to make some improvements.
