Extensions are the only reason I use firefox. And since a lot of them don't work with 1.5 I won't be upgrading for a while.

I can't get any extensions to DL with 1.5. I have the box unchecked for warning me about downloads, but it still gives the warning message. Is there something else to uncheck? WTF

I just upgraded to newest version (says 1.8.2005) and the extensions DL & work great for me.

Started with these two:
foxpose
IE view

seems to work good so far.

Adblock, Tabbrowser Extensions, ForecastFox, Fasterfox, IETab.

Techgage has a good, though somewhat old now, article on extensions that rank pretty high in the usability department.

Does anyone know of a either a feature or an extension that can make firefox store the tabs you had open the last time you closed the browser?

I love using firefox, but I keep my default at Opera simply because I like the convenience of having my 5 tabs or so appear after I shutdown/restart the browser.
