I think renovation suggested this a while ago, and I just did it... In order to read threads in the marketplace and bonanza sub-forums you must be a registered forum member. Guests will see that the forums exist, and on the content pages they will see the latest topics in the little side-bar thing on the left.

I see it like this... It make some of these things just for members, and perhaps create incentive for others to join. Like my free case, I want a member to see it and get it, if they want. And contests... same idea. This site is a good resource for finding them!

Seem like a good idea? Let me know your opinions. Thanks!

Excellent choice BB.
BTW when will you offer "The BigBruin members only mastercard/Visa"?

Or some sort of 'ClubMed for Geeks' ( "Sure, Our resorts are windowless boxes, in the seedy part of non traditional resort area (Club newark, club Camden, etc) But we've got broadband in every room and hot and cold running Bawls")

Hmmm... GeekMed, I like that idea. And the credit cards, too. On that note, Capital One offered me a platinum Visa for "my business". Kinda funny, a fairly normal Visa card, but it says Big Bruin under my name... Laughing

One issue with the contests being hidden to non-members... I will have to post our own contests in a different forum so people visiting can see them! Thats OK, but I could just see the next contest here getting no entries and me wondering WTF not connecting what I had done! Laughing
