Looking good... Where did you find that case? This, right...

http://www.ultraproducts.com/product_details.php?cPath=13&pPath=250&productID=250

Kinda old school, which is fine, but you might get a better deal on a cooler case looking around a bit... Or, if that is your style, nevermind.

Also - I am not really familiar with Ultra's cases and how nice they, or what kind of quality they have... Thermaltake, Cooler Master, Enermax, Antec all seem to have a range of styles and prices, with generally good quality.

ya you found the case, its $20 after rebate from tigerdirect.com
for $20 its good, i got same case (but with side window) for a pc i made for somebody in August. Nice case imo...

I know I could get a cooler looking/better case, but I'd rather spend money on parts than a nicer case. For twenty bucks, I wont complain.

Thats cool then... I assume they have gotten better since they got sued, but Tiger Direct used to be aweful for not honoring their rebates and that pretty much turned me off from ever shopping there again.

But, I think they got slammed hard and are probably doing things right now... Plus, Tiger Direct = Ultra Products, so you'll basically be buying factory direct! Laughing

Well it's final, I ordered new parts for my new system.
For those of you interested here are final specs I went with:

  • Ultra Wizard Black ATX Mid-Tower Case with Front USB & Firewire Ports, Ultra PC-Vent and Ultra 350-Watt Power Supply
  • OCZ PowerStream ATX 2.01/EPS SLI Ready w/Adjustable Power Rails & LED 520W PS
  • DFI Lan Party NForce4 SLI-DR
  • AMD Athlon 64 3200+ Venice Retail Box with fan
  • Thermalright XP-90C P4/K8 All Copper Heatsink with Panaflo 92mm High Speed
  • G.SKILL Extreme Series 1GB (2 x 512MB) 184-Pin DDR
  • eVGA GeForce 7800 GT CO 256MB GDDR3 PCI Express SLI Dual DVI HDTV
  • Hitachi 80GB 7200rpm 8MB SATA-300 [two drives in raid 0]
  • Maxtor DiamondMax 10 300GB 7200rpm 16MB SATA-150

Total is just under $1500 shipped and taxed [no thanks to newegg] and $90 worth of mail in rebates.

Yes, I am going to have an extra 350-watt Ultra PS and AMD's heatsink/fan, if anyone is interested let me know. I changed the case because it was like $10 more for 350w PS and some fan vent system. Also Spire helped me with final configuration, cut down some cost and OC ability. Thx dood Wink
