I just got a new card... ati x850pro 256 (agp).... I'm old school lol... i was going to upgrade to pci-e but i got it for 60% off through a special accomidation so it was only like 150 shipped.... anyway...

I hook it up and it runs fine. Theres this weird plugin though that looks like a 4 prong usb connection that goes to the mobo... when i plug it in though it does nothing.... i was thinking that may be for the temp or something through the catalyst drivers but its not sending any information... im going to try another spot on the mobo but is this what its probably for?? it doesnt state anything in the manual

Looks like the power connection to me. Unless I am mistaken you plug a 4 pin floppy connector from the power supply into that.

I don't know, but it does look a bit like the old cd audio connectors... no reason for that there, but I doubt there would be two power connectors on it...

My video card has two connectors on it, but they are both the 4 pin molex connectors.

Interesting...kinda DOES look like the audio cable from a sound card or something...
